WHY SAIL COMPETITIVELY?
What better way to learn about your yacht, to learn to sail better, and to get to know your fellow sailors.
The theme for this summer series is to enjoy your sailing and to have fun. The yearly event will consist of a Friday evening series, a Saturday Bricks series and a Winter series.
All races will be sailed in two divisions with one mass start. Each division will display a pennant on its back stay no smaller than 300mm by 250mm, to be seen clearly from start boat. If yacht does not have a back stay, the pennant will be flown from the starboard stay just below the lower cross tree.
No 1 division, those wanting to use spinnakers will fly a white pennant.
No 2 division, the cruising division, no spinnakers or gennakers, will fly a yellow pennant.
Each boat is responsible for obtaining it’s own pennant.
